Hungry For The Hunger Games

Rarely do I see a movie trailer for a book that I have read and think, “I must see that movie.” That was the case last week thought when I saw the preview of “The Hunger Games” movie. The book was beyond incredible, and when I saw the preview come on television I completely forgot whatever I was doing and became engulfed by what I was watching. From what I could tell from the trailer, the movie looks like it follows the book closely. Of course that is what any book lover wants to hear about a movie that is adapted from the book version.

The cast of the film looks well done featuring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark. Also in the movie are Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, and Lenny Kravitz.

If you have not yet read the books and want to before the movie comes out to theaters, then you still have plenty of time. The film will not be released until March 2012, but you can bet I will be sitting here anxiously waiting that date constantly checking in to see what else they can offer me at the website for it.
